Synopsis:
In A Disturbed Earth, filmmaker Rihab Charida and graphic novelist Leila from the Palestinian diaspora embark on a deeply personal journey to reclaim and visualise the lost Palestinian village of Safsaf, destroyed during the Nakba. Through oral histories, detective work, and animation, they create a visual representation of their erased homeland, navigating generational trauma, exile, and the ongoing colonial violence in Palestine. This film unearths a story buried but waiting under the breathing rubble of a village.
