Synopsis:

This film follows a group of aspiring young Palestinian footballers from Gaza, united by their dream of playing for the national team, Al-Fida'i. Their lives are upended when war erupts in Gaza, forcing them to confront the harsh reality of their situation. We document their struggle for survival, their hopes and dreams, and the question of whether they can hold onto their aspirations amidst the genocide. Will their dreams be buried in Gaza's stadiums, or can football be a lifeline for them? This is a story of resilience and hope in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

Marwa Jbara-Tibi, a Palestinian filmmaker with 12 years in documentaries, spent 25 years in journalism, including at CNN. Her films like Bread and Butter and The Bride Dress earned accolades at global festivals.
